New Berlin has three parks for the enjoyment and recreation of its citizens. North Park, located three blocks north of downtown, is identified by the town's two water towers. There is a picnic area, jungle gym, slides, swings, and teeter-totters. Also located in North Park is a time capsule that was buried in October, 1976 and to be opened fifty years later in the year 2026.

North Park contains several recreational areas for children, including a new wave slide that was installed this past year.

Wabash Park, located in downtown New Berlin, is the host for several civic organization activities. The Walther League hosts an annual ice cream social and occasional car shows are held. A Norfolk and Western depot once stood in the park along the railroad. In the walls of the depot were bullet holes from bullets shot by Jesse James. The depot now stands in a museum in Missouri.

Located in downtown New Berlin, the Wabash Park gives an open feeling to the downtown businesses.

Corbett Park is located on the south side of New Berlin. The land for Corbett Park was given to the Village by the descendants of the Sheehan Family.
The Jaycees developed and funded the park in the late 1970's and early 1980's. The park features a large open area and a playground for the kids.

Corbett Park offers a tube slide in addition to a tree house.
